In-Game Haircuts

Change the hairstyle for your character in any save file as many times as you wish!

This file contains instructions on how you can change the hairstyle for your character (female only at this time) as well as a full hairstyle list to choose from.
Male hair changes coming soon.

Until CD Projekt implements the ability to change hairstyles in-game, this hex edit work around can be used to allow you to change the hairstyle of your female (male coming soon) character any time in-game and for any save file.

In this file you will find instructions (same as below) as well as a Hairstyle Reference text file which contains the hex values for all 38 female hairstyles (excluding #39 completely bald style).

Please note if you initially created your character with hairstyle #39 (completely bald) you cannot change your hair at this time.
Also note that although all hairstyles can be swapped between male/female, due to character model head sizes; most hairstyles do not fit nicely on the opposite sex
Instructions:
1) Locate your sav.dat save file you would like to modify. Location should be C:\Users\”USERNAME”\Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077

2) !! MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR sav.dat FILE !!

3) Download and install a Hex editing program such as HxD (site here)
The rest of the instructions are based on HxD. Other hex editing programs may work differently

4) Start HxD and drag the sav.dat file to the program window or choose file > open > “browse to your sav.dat file”

5) Using the included Female_Hairstyles.txt as reference, locate your current hair style string using Find(ctrl+f) > Hex-values > “hairstyle string here”
For example: If you created your character with hairstyle # 21: Find(ctrl+f) > hex-values > 3F 28 5C 0B AF 8A C1 0B
If you do not know which hairstyle # you chose during initial character creation, you will have to search each style string until you find yours

6) Replace your current hairstyle string with the style of your choosing using the included Female_Hairstyles.txt
Either copy/paste over the string of Hex values..
Or Replace(ctrl+r) > Hex-values > Find: “current hairstyle string” > Replace with: “desired hairstyle string”

7) Save the modifed sav.dat file

8) Load/reload your save file. No need to relaunch the game
That’s it!

You can change as often as you like.
