Cyberpunk 2077 System Requirements
Cyberpunk 2077 System Requirements
As of right now, we don’t know exactly what the system requirements for Cyberpunk 2077 on PC will be, but we can make some educated guesses. There are two basic sets of facts we know about the game that help to understand what the lower end and upper end of specs will be.
The Low End
First, we can take a look at the consoles we know that Cyberpunk 2077 will have to run on. The game will definitely be optimized for these platforms so we can’t use them as a definite lower end, but they help us to get a general idea.
First, we have the Xbox One:
- CPU: 8-core x86 AMD @ 1.75GHz (likely based on the Kabini line)
- GPU: Near equivalent to Radeon 7790, 1.31 teraflops
- RAM: 8GB DDR3 (5 GB usable)
- Storage: 500 GB hard drive
Next, there’s the PS4:
- CPU: 8-core x86 AMD @ 1.6GHz
- GPU: AMD Radeon GPU, 1.84 teraflops
- RAM: 8GB DDR5 (3.5 GB usable)
- Storage: 500 GB hard drive
OS memory usage on PC is going to be different than on a console purpose-built for gaming, especially given the way Windows 10 uses compression to manage memory. However, it’s safe to say that a PC with less than these specs will not be able to run Cyberpunk 2077.
The High End
Of course, there is no upper limit for specs to run the game, so if you are a multi-millionaire feel free to build the most bleeding edge rig you can imagine, but we do know the exact specs used by CD PROJEKT RED to demo the game. Since they wanted to make a good impression, these are presumably good enough to run Cyberpunk 2077 on Ultra settings.
E3 2018 Demo Rig
CPU: Intel i7-8700K @ 3.70 GHz
MB: ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-I GAMING
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V, 2x16GB, 3000MHz, CL15
GPU: GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
SSD: Samsung 960 Pro 512 GB M.2 PCIe
PSU: Corsair SF600 600W
The E3 2019 demo rig was identical the previous year, except it replaced the 1080 Ti with an NVIDIA TITAN RTX for even more graphical power.
